Our 3 broad goals

The Celebrate Capitalism campaign has 3 broad aims.

The Celebrate Capitalism™ campaign has 3 broad goals.

These are summarized as: "Study, Thank, Promote".

In your role as an authorized CPL (Creative Project Leader), your Celebrate Capitalism™ activities need to be compatible with these 3 goals.

Perhaps your Celebrate Capitalism™ project may even be designed to advance one or more of these goals!

Study ...

Meet Lady El Totsira D'Narnya.
She represents the goal of "Study".

Celebrate Capitalism™ actively encourages two areas of study.

These are:

  1. The study of "The Big 7" thinkers:
  2. The study of historic Creative Heroes from all fields, including: Entrepreneurs, Artists, Inventors, Explorers, Novelists, Educators, Scientists, Engineers, etc.

Just a few brief examples of historic (non-living) Creative Heroes:

    Thomas Edison

    Michelangelo

    Henry Ford

    Archimedes

    Walt Disney

    Mozart

Question: "Do I need to agree with all the Big 7 thinkers?"

Answer: No. That would be impossible. For one thing, between them, these thinkers themselves disagree on many issues.

The Celebrate Capitalism™ campaign as a whole encourages the study, discussion, and debating of the ideas of the Big 7 - both across the community and within the campaign itself.

Question: "Do I need to promote all these thinkers?"

Answer: No. But you do need to be favorable towards, and personally interested, in at least one of the Big Seven.

Important Clarification:

Regarding the Big 7, the campaign encourages and emphasises the study, exploration, discussion, and debating of the original works - the original writings (or translations) - of the Big 7. Not so much those works which are about those original writings.

Thank ...

Meet Aristopoulos Sky Poet.
He represents the goal of "Thank".

On Capitalism Day™ we invite the world to publicly and formally thank, appreciate, admire, uphold, honour, defend and ...

Celebrate!

    The system
... of freedom, creativity, and prosperity. i.e. Capitalism.

    The defenders
... and promoters of Capitalist Ideals such as individual rights, free speech, private property, freedom of association.

    The creative
... and productive individuals of the world who create the material, intellectual, spiritual wealth of mankind.

The "thank" goal is about Positive Justice. Justice means treating people as they deserve.

The creative and productive individuals of the world deserve to be appreciated and thanked.

Those who fight for our rights deserve to be honoured and supported.

The system of freedom and creativity (Capitalism) deserves to be celebrated.

Promote ...

Meet Earthquake.
He represents the goal of "Promote".

Celebrate Capitalismâ„¢ seeks to promote Capitalism in the following ways - summarized by the abbreviation "didi3d" (dee dee three dee) ...

... As a destination and ideal.
We invite the world to understand and get a feel for what Capitalism would actually mean. What it would actually be like. To "Imagine Capitalism".

... As a direction and ingredient.
We support all moves in the direction of individual rights, greater liberty, greater respect of person and property, more creativity, freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of worship. We encourage and support policies that add a Capitalist ingredient and result in greater liberty. We encourage the public and policy makers to give Capitalism a chance, test it, try it out, sample it.

... In 3 dimensions:
The Practical. The Moral. The Magnificent.

Dimension 1: Capitalism is practical.
It works. It delivers the goods.

Dimension 2: Capitalism is moral.
It is founded on sound moral principles (such as the recognition that "I own my life!") and its implementation leads to good moral consequences such as freedom, respect, benevolence, happiness.

Dimension 3: Capitalism is magnficent.
Literally magnificent. It leads to more music, more colors, tastier and healthier foods, more friends, better communication, more opportunities to travel. Capitalism is more fun.

The term we use to summarise all the above is: di-di-3d ("dee dee three dee")

di = Destination & Ideal
di = Direction & Ingredient
3d = The 3 "dimensions": Practical, Moral, Magnificent
